Blue Quality Service personnel perform an array of energy related services for commercial construction. Our energy evaluation services are focused on providing actionable information relating to identifying sources of energy loss and meeting local energy codes.
Energy Code Inspection
Blue Quality Services technicians are International Code Council (ICC) Certified Commercial Energy Inspectors. We have performed this service for clients as a means of obtaining a Certificate of Occupancy, as some jurisdictions require this inspection prior to turnover.
Performing an Energy Code Inspection is a cost effective way to ensure the energy consuming aspects of a building meet code and provides actionable data for owners, developers, builders, and designers.
Infrared Thermography
Our Certified Infrared Thermographers can quickly identify sources of energy loss and provide visual references for the severity of the problem. Missing insulation, thermal breaks in assemblies, failing mechanical connections, inefficient motor operation, and transformer energy losses are a few of the energy related uses for infrared thermography.
